The ANTSO association provides humanitarian aid to fight poverty in Madagascar, particularly in rural areas, with a view, not of assistantship, but of support for local initiatives to which the local community contributes and from which it fully benefits.
“Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world,” said Nelson Mandela, and we are convinced of it.
Our actions are thus mainly oriented towards the education of underprivileged children of these rural communes, by setting up a structure offering the best conditions both in terms of school materials and in terms of recurring problems of nutrition and hygiene.
Our projects aim to provide children with the best bases for a good start in life: knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills.
We do everything we can to make our projects sustainable by providing help to parents as well, by offering them training and awareness days on topics aimed at improving their living conditions (health, jobs, etc.).
We opt for micro-projects in order to allow our donors to more easily follow the concrete changes made on the ground thanks to their generosity and solidarity. Indeed, thanks to our two representatives on site, we have a very regular feedback of the situation which allows us to keep our site up to date on the progress of our projects.
